Thesis:
  • The budget cuts are an extreme measure that not only hurt us, as students, but also has major implications on the jobs of the community.
1: The budget cuts are making life harder on students.
  • Less classes
  • Less resources
  • Higher tuition
  • Harder to get into colleges

2: The budget cuts are also affecting the jobs of the people in our community.

  • Lay offs
  • Lower wages
  • Less hours
  • Harder to get a job

    So, this really is a surface layer of the issues above, not to mention this is two different essays. How can you make this provocative?
